The aims and objectives of the HERTM Workplace Competence Assessment are to formally assess the competence of the candidate in the role of a HERTM during emergency response drills and scenarios.
The target group for Helideck Emergency Response Team Member (HERTM) Workplace Competence Assessment is personnel who are required to be assessed against the helideck emergency response role requirements during offshore drills and scenarios.
There are no-prerequisites for the HERTM Workplace Competence Assessment. However, HERTMs are expected to have completed Helideck Emergency Response Team Member training followed by supervised workplace training prior to being formally assessed.
The OPITO Helideck Emergency Response Team Member Standard is available for individuals who are required to complete helideck emergency response team member training.
The HERTM Workplace Competence Assessment Certificate is valid for two years.
